Apple buys Lala.

I know this may be old news to some, but as I am lacking thing's to write about, this is my only chance. For those of you that don't know, lala is a site that allows you to stream music from their catalog, and allows unlimited streaming for only 10 cents a track. Essentially it's like iTunes, but on the internet. It also scans the users hard drive to see their collection, then creates an online playlist based off of their collection. Many are confused of why they're buying lala, "lala’s licenses for streaming music with the major music labels are not transferable to any acquirer, and its service has not been a hit with mainstream consumers." To me, this is just showing that either apple wants to develop a cloud like system like lala, or they are worried about competition, like any business should be. It was later said that they are buying the engineer's, and the co-founder of the site, to gain knowledge in the cloud system.

That is all for now, I am very tired and need to get some sleep. Be sure to follow my twitter at http://twitter.com/TheRobGood. Thanks for reading.

Sexting.

Sexting is a sensitive subject to some, but to others, it needs to be addressed. To me, it is your responsibility to what ever you send, and you have the right over your body. You should not let anyone or anything influence your decision. Now, with that being said, I also believe that if the parent's find out, and do not intervene, it is also on them. A parents relationship with their child should never be shy, the child should no be afraid or worried to talk to their parent.

Another thing, if a person sends a explicit picture of themselves, then they should realize that there is a possibility that it will get sent around. They should be aware of the ridicule they will face if that happens. However, they should not be forced to endure it. I believe that the child should talk to someone about the bullying, either to a school councilor, or to a parent. Also, the teachers and school staff should make and input as well. I know the teachers have their own job to do, but aren't schools supposed to be safe and enjoyable? The teachers cannot be too blind to not see what is happening in front of them.

I will continue to work on this later today and tomorrow.

Don't think about that.

According to a study, our personalities affect more than who we interact with, they can actually influence your health. Some thought's are not good for you, as you may know, but we are now actually finding out what they can do. To me, anything negative you think about yourself, impacts you in a negative way. I always try to think positive, well most of the time, but at least I try. If anything negative comes up, I look at that situation and see how I can become a better person from it. It may not seem like it, but everything you think or do has a way in-its-self that you can change from. It also can make you a better person as long as you believe in yourself, and believe that you can over come anything in your way. Now there may be something's that test your ability to do so, but that's when you have to stiffen your upper lip and force your way threw.

I know this isn't my usual style of topic or post, but I read an article about feeling's, and it clicked with something in me. Anyways, it's 4 in the morning, I'm going to bed. Later!

Oh Internet.

This is a question I hear a lot, but never answer it. "Where would you be without the internet?" First off, I would like to say that I believe social contact merely exists because of the internet. I mean think about it. You got facebook, myspace, youtube, and a whole bunch of sites where people talk to there friend's, rather than going out. Also, in this day in age, almost every teen has a cellphone, and nearly everyone of them text. That also takes out some social contact, and well, lets face it, the need for a voice. But back to the question. I most likely would have straight A's, and be able to get a good night sleep. Now, you may be asking what do those thing's have to do with internet? Mostly, the reason I don't do some of my homework is because I get distracted by facebook, myspace, etc. I know you can just shut the computer down or close the laptop, but I can't. Now about the good night sleep, I usually stay on my laptop well into the morning. Again, without internet, this would not happen. There would be nothing keeping me on the computer, thus boring me to death causing me to close me laptop. I would like to see a time with no internet, however I would prefer that I did not know of its existence before hand, because then I would be miserable. Also, the internet is a major source of education. Research paper's, things to study, and so on. So I do not see a future without internet, but I'm fine with that. That's all for now, see ya later!

Monkey Business.

Well all like to take picture's right? Well, apparently so do Orangutan's. She is located in Vienna Zoo, and uses the Samsung ST 1000 to take her photo's. When ever she takes a picture, it is automatically uploaded to the internet. But where on the internet do you ask? That's the other crazy thing about it, not that this whole story in itself is beyond crazy, but the picture's are uploaded to Facebook. An Orangutan with her own fan page on Facebook. There's a trick behind it all though, every time the shutter on the camera is closed, a raisin is released from the camera. I'd be willing to bet she's in it for the food, not the fame.

Another sleepless night.

After sleeping all day, I can't go to bed. I will eventually learn that if I even shut my eye's during the day, I will get no sleep that night. This is fun. I'm sick, deprived of sleep, and I have to go to school tomorrow. Sounds fun right? Yea, not so much. At least Christmas is coming. If I get everything I want I should be writing everyday and have my own show on a streaming site. I can't wait. Although Christmas is not all about presents and receiving things, which most people think, as I did too. I realized however, that it is about being with your family and giving rather than receiving. I love being with my family more than everything, and talking about what we've all been up to lately. Honestly, I enjoy that more than anything on earth. You never know how long you are going to have your family and how long there going to be here. That is all I have to say tonight, so I'll see you later on today. Adios!

The never ending debate about Marijuana.

Although I have never smoked pot, nor do I ever plan to, I am for the legalization for pot. Now you're probably saying that I'm just a teen and I have no idea what I am talking about. You may have a point about the teen thing, but I do know some things about weed. Let me first point out how much lying there is involved with marijuana. First, the myth that is forced upon the youth is that weed is addictive. WRONG. Most marijuana smokers smoke it on occasion, with friends. Less that 1% smoke it on a daily basis, and an even smaller minority develop a dependence on it. Another thing is that there have been no cases of lung cancer based solely on marijuana. However, it still contains irritants in the smoke, but since it is not used as much as tobacco, it is not inhaled as much over time. Marijuana is a gateway drug, also wrong. Most people who smoke marijuana never use another illegal drug. It is the most used illegal drug in America today.

Everyone knows about the economy know, and that we need something to pull us out. Marijuana could do this. How? It is one of the largest cash crop's in America. "
A report released today by a marijuana public policy analyst contends that the market value of pot produced in the U.S. exceeds $35 billion — far more than the crop value of such heartland staples as corn, soybeans and hay, which are the top three legal cash crops." See, it can't be all that bad, it could actually be used to pull us out of this depression we are in.

Now, about the brain cells. Everything causes brain cells to die, that is a known fact, but, they keep pushing it about marijuana. Where did this come from? In 1974, the Heath and Tulane study was conducted, and the results where that it in fact did kill brain cells. However, they did not release how the study was conducted. After six years of request, it was finally released. Dr. Heath had originally said that he had only given 30 joints a day to the monkeys, which was a straight up lie. He had given 63 Colombian strength joints to the monkeys over a five minute period, pumping the smoke through a gas mask, losing no smoke. He suffocated the monkey's. Everyone knows what happens when something suffocates, its brain cell's die! Overall, he rigged the study to say marijuana killed brain cell's. Now, a study in 2005, showed the opposite. Marijuana could possibly stimulate brain cell growth. One more thing, it does not cause cancer. A study released that Cannabis smoke does not cause cancer, it is different than tobacco smoke. There have been no reported deaths from marijuana. Tobacco is grown with radioactive fertilizer, and causes more deaths than anything, including AIDS.

Interesting huh?

Sickness and new writing plan.

I am back again today for the second time. I feel like a pile of garbage, and that is no good when It comes to well being. As to the tittle, I have covered the sick part, but not the new writing plan. This blog was made to write about my life and what happened and occurred in it. I also have another blog about technology and what not. I have decided to merge them together, and write about both in this blog. I will probably end up deleting the other one and keeping up with this one. I know I have been back and forth with writing, but I am trying to keep up with it. Although with school it is becoming really hard. Spanish is a drag, but I am staying after for tutoring, so It shall surpass. That is all for now, I have to get some sleep. I might stay home tomorrow, but that all depends on how I feel. Adios !

Back from outerspace.

Oh yea, I'm back. I know you missed me. Well, there still is nothing to write about. The same stuff is just repeating itself. Christmas is right around the corner which is pretty cool. Still three weeks so it's pretty far off, but hey, it's still coming. School is going pretty good, but I know that's the last thing you want to hear about, so I cut to something else. I went to Disney world in October. That was fun, It was like 75 degrees the whole time I was there. I had a fun time, I went with my aunt and uncle and their grand children, and my family. It was my little brothers birthday while we were down there, he had a fun time with that. All the little kids loved meeting the characters and getting their autograph's. I didn't get to ride that many rides, but it was still fun. Anyways, I got to go, my team wants me to get on for matches. Later!
