Hey, let's help that stranger.

Would you ever help some one out you did not know, and they don't even speak your language. Then why help out the illegals. That is my subject for today, the people that do not even speak our language and we pay for with our taxes, well the people that do pay taxes.

Before I write anything else I should warn you, that seeing as I am a teen, sophomore in high school and do not now much about this subject, but lately I have been lacking things to write about. If at all you think that my opinion is at all false or you simple do not agree with me, please contact me with your thoughts at bobbiegoodman@hotmail.com. Also, if you are in fact from another country, and are reading this, please take no offense, as none is intended. Also, if it seems like I'm stereotyping. I am not intending to. Now please allow me to share my thoughts.

As I said before, you would not help some stranger that you do not even know, then why help the illegals that are flooding our country. The thing that makes me mad the most is they don't even know our language, and they have the nerve. and Rights to get a job. I think you should be made to learn the language of the country you are in, and pass a literacy test, in order to become a citizen of that country, I am not talking about America alone, but any other country were you need to become a citizen to live there. Think about it, think back fifty years, if you're that old, as I'm not, when you went through a fast food drive threw, you got some one who could actually speak English well. You go to a fast food drive threw now, and most likely you'll get some one who can hardly speak English.

Now, to go along with the fast food statement, I have another thought. Them not being able to read/write well, they are taking all the job's that the youth would be taking during the summer. Another subject is tied into that thought. If there were more jobs, this would take the youth of the street, possible reducing crime's. Also, they would have their own supply of money, making not have to steal from others or beg there parent's for money. Not only would make them learn our language be a good thing, but it might give the chance for the youth of America to get a summer job.

Back to the subject at hand. The thing that anger's me the most is that the Government seems to let them come in unnoticed. Yea, we have border patrol, but it seems that more get through than are stopped. I do not know how the guards are laid out, but I would have one about every 100-200 feet. Sure, that's a lot of guards, but to me it's truly needed. Sure, they'll work under almost any condition, but is that what we need. Are we as a nation really that lazy that we need people from other countries to do our own work for us. Are we that dependent? We already are over populating as it is. We don't need more people to come in because they feel as though there government in is a ruckus, or that it is the dream land. Our government is messed up too, and were going through what seems to be another depression.
